(C. pepo) A rare, large, tan acorn squash, with the most exquisite nutty flavour! Paydon Acorn Squash is sweeter and nuttier that any other acorn we’ve grown, the fruits turn from a speckled tan to yellow in storage. Vigorous vines. Maintained in Louisiana for generations, our strain of Paydon is earlier to set fruit than the original southern variety thanks to on-farm adaptation and breeding, making ours a special farm exclusive acorn squash.
