(Solanum aethiopicum) Turkish Orange Eggplant is an easy to grow, early ripening and prolific producer of small (3 inch) round eggplants that ripen to orange. Flavour is mild and sweet, great for any eggplant recipe. We have had these plants easily out-produce larger fruiting eggplants pound for pound in our garden, making it a great eggplant for our maritime climate. Pick fruits that are still green with just an orange tinge for best table quality.
