Marino Seed Garlic

Rocambole hardneck.  Farm favourite!  A reliable producer of large heads, Marino averages 6 to 10 cloves per head.  Fabulous flavour in the kitchen, and one of our best varieties for long term storage.  Marino is a bit later to sprout in the spring, to scape, and to dry down in the field- the staggered harvest of scapes and heads is welcome to folks like us who grow a lot of garlic!  Despite its lateness, it sizes up more than other rocambole varieties. Price per head.

Customer Testimonials

“As soon as I saw my seeds, I had a feeling that they came from plants that had been grown with care – I was further convinced by the 100% germination rate and the fact that … the corn and beans we grew from those seeds thrived and produced a lovely crop! Thank you so much for providing such great seeds; and service, too!”

“Their website has a great variety and the photos accompanying the seeds are their crops, not stock photos – what you see is what you get… I won’t be looking anywhere else for seeds any more. Period. Yonder Hill Farm is THAT good. Buy from them and you will see what I mean. Happy Planting!”
