Description
This lovely field corn performs remarkably well in our Maritime climate – calling into question its reputed Mexican origins. Our late-May planting was ready to harvest and dry down indoors in October! Tall and robust plants – our 2019 stand of corn survived the ravages of Hurricane Dorian – bear 2 ears of corn each. Dent corn is traditionally used for making tortillas and cornmeal, but could also be used for homestead animal feed. Approx. 40 seeds per packet.
