All plants are for local pickup at our farm only in 2020. Transplants are grown from seeds produced on our farm, in certified organic potting mix blended with locally produced Bear Cove Resources Storm-cast Composted Seaweed.
Flower transplants will be available for pickup starting in mid May.
4 plants per pot. (Tithonia rotundiflora) AKA Mexican Sunflower. A beautiful addition to any garden, tithonia attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators with its rusty orange blossoms. Plants are multi-branching, continuing to bloom until a hard frost. When planted together in a row, tithonia will form a lovely 5-6 foot tall hedge. For earliest blooms, start indoors in mid-April and transplant out later in May. Farm favourite!
