Description
(C. pepo) Arguably the very best pie pumpkin – once you try it, you’ll be hooked! Another old Maine heirloom likely derived from the Algonquian Squash historically grown there by First Nations, these pumpkins look like giant green zucchinis even when time to harvest in the fall. The skin turns brilliant orange in storage – these are exceptional keepers (and stackable!). Fluffy and sweet orange flesh perfect for pies, breads, and soups. The elongated shape means less seed cavity per fruit and more divine flesh. Can you tell? This is our absolute favourite pie pumpkin- grow it once and you’ll be a convert!
Approx. 15 seeds per packet.
