Hummingbird Sage

(Salvia coccinea) AKA Scarlet Sage.  Native to southern North America (think Florida to Texas), this stunning member of the mint family is a tender perennial grown as an annual in our climate.  And does it ever attract hummingbirds!  In 2021 we finally grew out a large enough patch in our garden to produce a bulk of seeds, and we saw hummingbirds at the blooms every single day in the summer. Very quick to bloom (though we still recommend starting early indoors) and continuously blooming after that all the way until a frost! Sorry, out of stock for 2025.
