Description
(Foeniculum vulgare) The perennial type grown for leaves and seeds, as opposed to Florence Fennel which is grown for bulbs. Hardy plants thrive with little care once they get established. Use the leaves in teas, seasoning, soups or fresh in salads. The seeds are delicious just nibbled out of hand. Sweet anise-like flavour. A host plant for several species of swallowtail butterfly.
Approx. 50 seeds per packet.
