Certaines graines minuscules n&rsquo;ont pas besoin de couverture de terre. Autre r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, les graines ont besoin d&rsquo;une temp\u00e9rature du sol plus chaude pour germer que les plantes n&rsquo;en ont besoin pour pousser \u2013 nous recommandons de chauffer le fond des plateaux de semis int\u00e9rieurs pour une germination plus rapide et plus uniforme. Sauf indication de r\u00e9sistance au froid, attendez que le sol soit chaud (et les nuits au-dessus de 10 degr\u00e9s Celsius) pour semer directement les graines \u00e0 l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur.   <\/p>\n<p>La premi\u00e8re chose que font toutes les graines avant de germer est de gonfler d&rsquo;eau, donc le sol doit \u00eatre humide mais pas d\u00e9tremp\u00e9. Si vous plantez pendant une p\u00e9riode de s\u00e9cheresse, faites tremper les grosses graines pendant une journ\u00e9e avant de les planter et pr\u00e9voyez d&rsquo;arroser r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;apparition des pousses. <\/p><p>Les dates que nous indiquons pour la plantation de nos graines correspondent \u00e0 notre emplacement en Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse, o\u00f9 la saison de croissance sans gel se situe g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de mi-mai \u00e0 mi-octobre.
